David Bowie contributes his thoughts on MP3, the digital age and the recordingindustry in the “Business Day” cover story of the February 1st edition of theNew York Times. Bowie was interviewed recently for the piece by writer JonPareles.

The Third Italian Bowie Bash, hosted by LovingTheAlien.com and fanzine VelvetGoldmine, drew over 1000 Bowie fans at the Rock Cafe on January 30th. Thecrowd enjoyed Bowie cover bands and an Internet viewing terminal, and DJ D.and DJ Kighine kept the vibe going, spinning Bowie tunes until 5 in themorning..

VH1 is airing a program tonight at 7 pm EST called “Act Like A Singer” that will feature celebrities that have done thesinging and acting thing. David Bowie will be one of the people featured.Get the details at the VH1 website.

Mini's Are Back!

David Bowie’s fantastic invisible mini is on view at the Design museum in London from Tuesday 9 February until Sunday 9 May. 1999 marks the 40th anniversary of Issigonis’s design classic, and to mark the occassion MIni Art Cars designed by David, Paul Smith and Kate Moss will be on show alongside the winners of the Mini Design competition.
