The Nomad Soul Previews

Get your Surround-Sound ready, BowieVR is coming! Here are some game reviews and snippets about “The Nomad Soul,” which is due out this November.

“Yes, following his Internet dabblings, the Thin White Duke has launched himself headlong into the wonderful and frightening world of video games… Bowie provides all the game’s music, in conjunctionwith Tin Machine co-founder Reeves Gabrel. Bowiealso appears in the game, both as a key characternamed Boz, and as the lead singer of an in-gameband called The Dreamers, whose virtual concerts itis possible to attend.”

“On top of all this is the music of David Bowie and Reeves Gabrels… …and we’re not talking just soundtrack, either. ‘There’s even a spot ot two where you can grab a concert of the Dreamers, featuring 3D-modeled versions of David Bowie and Reeves Gabrels.'”

“The soundtrack is equally noteworthy. In an attempt to both create an unearthly musical environment and maximize the mass-market potential of the game, the creators of The Nomad Soul, French developer Quantic Dreams, went straight to the top-perennial rock star David Bowie… The team quickly found themselves talked into an entirely new collection of music by a very enthusiastic Bowie… The former Ziggy Stardust also appears in the game as a digitized freedom fighter.

“…’Omicron’ has plenty of original aspects that should set it apart from illustrious competition… Not the least of these features is a soundtrack by the original sci-fi rocker, David Bowie.”
