The MTVE ‘David Bowie Day‘ is happening 1st March across the Nordic & European feeds, which cover the following territories:
NORDIC FEED: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Faroe Islands
EUROPEAN FEED: Belgium, France, Israel, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Greece, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey
This is what will be shown over the course of the day:
1. David Bowie – ‘VH-1 Storytellers‘ – 1999
2. David Bowie – ‘Live from the 10 Spot‘ – US MTV Show
3. David Bowie – ‘Rockumentary‘ – 1991 Documentary with Kurt Loder
4. David Bowie – ‘hours… special‘ DB interview with MTV South re. hours album, originally put together by MTV South last year, they have re-voiced it.
5. David Bowie – ‘All-Time Top 10 David Bowie Videos‘ – 2000 As voted for by visitors to the MTV website. A selection of 20 was put onto the MTV website with visitors to the site invited to vote for their favourites. The results will be shown in a special program.
6. Bitesize segments – interview clips running into videos, eg. using clips from interviews with DB recorded last year, using clips from other artists saying what a huge influence DB is on them etc.
7. Promo clips to be screened throughout the day.
