Manchester On Sale This Saturday

“Where’s that bloody Neil Hannon got to David?.” – “Oh, I wouldn’t
worry Brett, we still have another nine years until Manchester!”

Divine (Comedy) in both, our lives…

Tickets for David Bowie’s performance on the first day of the four day ‘Move’ festival in Manchester go on sale this Saturday morning (4th May) at 9:00am local time. There has been a slight adjustment to the support acts, Suede are still playing, but Morcheeba and Elbow have now been replaced by a new version of Neil Hannon’s The Divine Comedy. I’m over the moon myself, David Bowie plus two of my very favourite bands of the last decade.

This will be David’s first show in Manchester in almost five years, he last appeared in the city on the Earthling tour back in July 1997. As we already told you, the show takes place on Wednesday July 10th at the Lancashire County Cricket Club ground at Old Trafford. Tickets are priced at £27.50 and are subject to a booking fee. They are available through the following outlets:

Online via: gigsandtours.com and by telephone at Picadilly Box office: 0161 832 1111 and Way Ahead: 0161 237 5554.
