See Preview Of Db On 60 Minutes Tonight

I’m happy, hope you’re happy too…

The 60 MINUTES web site has a sneak preview of tonight’s Bowie special that airs in Australia at 7:30pm local time. An interview for the show by Charles Wooley was conducted during David’s recent stay in Paris. Here’s the unintentionally hilarious blurb for tonight’s broadcast:

“Charles Wooley was never sure exactly what to make of David Bowie, the strange androgynous ’70s rock star who was so famously full of drugs and alcohol that his wonderful songs seemed to both encourage and confound analysis.

Then he got to meet the great man. Bowie’s now utterly straight, totally dried out. And Charles can now say with some authority that he’s still not sure exactly what to make of David Bowie!

What he can say is Bowie’s still making great music, has a new album, is married to a celebrated beauty and in his mid-fifties has become a father again. So never mind what the lyrics mean, this story has a happy ending.”
