Bowienet Give-away – May Winners – New Game On

What everybody’s wearing this season. Well, it’s what one person may be…and it could be you!

It’s this month’s pick…

It seems just about everybody is aware of the regular new draw open to all current BowieNet subscribers that we started last month. (05.01.06 NEWS: MONTHLY BOWIENET GIVE-AWAY STARTS TODAY)

We’re still working on getting new additions to the BowieNet vaults photographed and listed, and we hope to have that up and running shortly. The autographed shirt above, (see actual autograph below) which was owned and worn by David Bowie circa 1987, is just one example of the stuff you can expect to find in the vault…and it could be yours in exchange for 2,500 points.

I have been asked if winners can club together to amass points for some of the bigger items, and of course we have no problem with that…as long as they can agree on fair time-share ownership!!

And so, on to the list of the five winners for the May draw:

1st prize = 500 points to nature_boy
2nd prize = 400 points to colinwhite
3rd prize = 300 points to adeline
4th prize = 200 points to georgina23
5th prize = 100 points to matt

A further 200 points each were gathered by BowieNetters Excelsiordivine and ZiggyStarGirl on the MBs, when I set a quick competition asking for a picture of David actually wearing the above shirt. Excelsiordivine was the first to post something that seems to fit the bill, with a small mono picture of DB wearing the shirt in a shot with Peter Frampton.

But, I thought ZiggyStarGirl also deserved to win for finding the Denis O’Reagan shot below. Zardoz may yet have earned himself 200 points, but the jury is currently out over whether his contribution qualifies or not.

I wish somebody would hurry up and invent the iPod…this thing’s fucking heavy!

Here are the items in the vault as I write, items in red have now all gone, and items in green are newly-added.

Mail me with your claim as soon as you have decided on the item(s) you want…or just save up for something else you find more desirable.

In the meantime, all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning some points in the June draw is send us an e-mail here.

Usual rules apply: Only one entry per BowieNet account, and please remember you must enter using your BowieNet e-mail or at least supply your BowieNet user name. (Believe it or not, some entrants still don’t bother with either.)

There will be a fresh chance each month to send in your name, and don’t wait for us to tell you so, you can just start sending in on the first day of each new month

Each contest will close at midnight UK time on the last day of each month, with winners being announced a day or two later.

So, next month we will announce the winners for June and so on every month until you empty the vaults…if that ever happens!

As I say, we’ll be posting details of the new items as we get them, so you don’t have to worry about choosing anything just yet. Good luck kidz!
