BowieNetters in the UK will have trouble deciding which channel to watch tonight, as there are at least four shows airing with David Bowie content.
First up is the repeat of the Extras episode first aired on Thursday, featuring the eagerly awaited footage of David Bowie?s starring role and new song. You can find the show on BBC 2 at 10.45PM.
The Biography Channel in the UK is showing what it describes as the premiere of David Bowie ? A Reality Tour (Documentary). I?m guessing this must be an edited version of the DVD as the show is only one hour long. Find this one at 8.30PM on The Biography Channel (UK).
Before that show ends, you may like to channel hop and check out Best Of Talk? on ITV3. This week?s episode features highlights of Russell Harty?s chat show career and includes a snippet or two of his 1970s interviews with David Bowie. Airs on ITV3 at 9.00PM.
Also at 9.00PM on the newly launched BBC HD channel is Julien Temple?s acclaimed recent documentary of Glastonbury festival featuring David Bowie’s performance in 2000.
There IS a small comfort for those of you in the USA as VH1C airs Top Of The Pops ? The Final Countdown at 10.00PM ET, featuring David Bowie?s seminal performance of Starman.
