War Child's 'heroes' Album Put Back To February

The War Child “Heroes” album that we’ve been telling you about, (09.21.2008 NEWS: WAR CHILD’S “HEROES” ALBUM DUE NOVEMBER & 09.30.2008 NEWS: WAR CHILD’S “HEROES” ALBUM MORE DETAILS) has been put back due to overwhelming interest from other artists keen to be involved.

As mentioned in previous news items, TV On The Radio have covered David Bowie’s “Heroes” for the project.

The album also includes musical contributions from Scissor Sisters, Duffy, Elbow, Hot Chip, Beck, Rufus Wainwright and The Kooks.

U2, The Clash, Sir Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, The Kinks and Joy Division are among the artists who have chosen tracks of their own to be covered.

The 15-track CD will now be released through EMI?s Parlophone label on February 16th with the final tracklisting being announced shortly.
