Commencing countdown…
In an attempt to get the release even nearer to the original release date, EMI in America have moved the Space Oddity 40th Anniversary Edition from October to November 17th…now just under two weeks (and forty years) off of the original November 4th 1969 releaae date.
The European release remains October 12th due to different retail requirements for the Christmas holiday palaver…though the vinyl edition will follow a week later on the 19th there.
The vinyl version of the album will now exclusively incorporate a poster of the original Purcell Room gig flyer from November 20th, 1969, below.
