Original BowieNetters may remember a crazy young lady called Piccadilly the Puppet Girl from way back when. She’s now known worldwide as comedy singing superstar Carla Rhodes and she’s been in touch with details of a gig at Arlene?s Grocery in New York on Sunday evening.

Owen Comaskey and The Major Toms will be performing David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust album in it’s entirety from 9:30pm. Here’s a bit from Owen himself…

Too early to get the holidays started? We think not, come and join us for a night of great live music. I’ll be performing The Ziggy Album, sides 1 and 2, along with Adam and Charlie Roth, the fab Alec Morton and the return of Mighty Joe Vincent on drums.

Kicking the night off, George Gilmore and Scott Kitchen, followed by Johnny Chan and that’ll do it for the old folks. Ending the night one of the best young unsigned bands around, Dirty Fences. Don’t miss them, they f..ing ROCK, all this for a mere $5, Happy Holidays. – O.
