Fresh on your pages…

Author Nick Pegg has moved to Titan Books for the latest edition of the Bowie-lover’s most useful of reference tools, The Complete David Bowie.

The 736-page lump of a thing is due on September 9th with a whole load of new material to the tune of 35,000 words and a beautiful still from the January 1973 taping of My Death on Russell Harty Plus Pop gracing the front cover.

And that’s an exclusive first-look at the back cover above too. Here’s the doo dah from the reverse of the wotsit…

Titan Books has kindly agreed to Nick’s suggestion that we give five copies away on BowieNet and we thought it would be churlish not to, so stay tuned for that.

We set this one last month (07.07.2011 NEWS: FIVE COPIES OF ZIGGY PLAYED SURF GUITAR TO BE WON) and almost everybody got the right answer. Not so surprising when one considers the simplicity of the question we set:

All twenty one tracks on this album are instrumentals, obviously. However, only one of the tracks was an instrumental when originally released by David Bowie. Please identify that track.
