Oh man, I need TV…
Speaking of the French, (see yesterday’s news) Tony Visconti is currently producing some tracks for the French artist, Raphaël. That’s him above, pictured with Tony V in Paris a few days ago.
You may remember that Raphaël opened for David at the Olympia Theatre in Paris on July 1st 2002. (07.02.2002 NEWS: LAST NIGHT’S PARIS SHOW RECORDED FOR TV) Well now the self-confessed Bowie fan takes the association further, as, apart from the production skills of TV, Raphaël has enlisted DB veteran musicians Mike Garson, Gail Ann Dorsey, Robert Aaron, Zack Alford and Carlos Alomar.

Tony will also be producing some of the second Klaxons‘ album next March. Klaxons are a band that I’m sure you will remember David Bowie gave the thumbs up to for Music Recommenders over a year ago.
