To be right in that photograph…
The photograph of David Bowie and Lulu on eBay that we told you about a few days ago (07.28.05 NEWS: LULU AUCTIONS ZIGGY ON EBAY FOR CHARITY) reached a very impressive final bid of £1,031.00 (approx. $1,827USD).
The photograph, donated and signed by Lulu, is by far and away the most successful of Nigella Lawson’s auctions, which is great news as all of the proceeds go to breast cancer charities.
While we’re talking expensive photographs, the David Bowie: Pin Up exhibition (07.02.05 SNIPPET: LAST WEEK’S BOWIENET VIEW AT REDFERNS GALLERY) has been extended until Saturday August 13th – BowieNetters can still get a 10 per cent discount off the pictures in the gallery which can be viewed here.
