Calling All Mac Users
Update: it seems that is IS possible to run Worlds Ultimate 3D Chat on a Mac with Kinetix Virtual Win 95.
The following information was sent in by a MAC guru.
“You can run Worlds on a Mac with a product called Virtual PC by Connectix. It allows win 95/98 emulation on high end Power Macintoshes. You shouldreally be using a G3 Mac to get good emulation results. I haven’t triedthis yet, mostly because it’s a hastle and my machine is about a year oldand at the minimum requirements to run Virtual PC. Anyhow the connectixwebsite has all the info folks need (http://www.connectix.com). Theresalso another emulator made by Insignia called Real PC and/or SoftWindows95/8… site is http://www.insignia.com).”
Calling All Mac Users
In reviewing some of the technical data for the WORLDS 3D Chat, there seems to be a “technical loophole” that you might want to consider. It says:Worlds Ultimate 3D Chat will run on a Mac with Kinetix Virtual Win 95. We haven’t confirmed this, but thought it might be useful to know. If you have a MAC with Kinetix Virtual Win 95, give it a try!
