As reported back in December, Modern Painter did a cover interview conducted by David Bowie with painterand film maker Julian Schnabel (see David’s Nov. 15th journal for more details).

Entitled “Painting the Veils of Time:‘I was so much older then, I’m younger than that now’” – David Bowie interviews Julian Schnabel. The entire interview can now be viewed at the Modern Painters site.

The UK Mirror newspaper entertainment editor Matthew Wright haslaunched a campaign to have the Bowie/Placebo duet recorded and releasedfor charity.

25 years ago this week, Rolling Stone Magazine published William Burroughs’ interview with David Bowie. The famous writer interviewed Bowie at David’s London home.

Seems that there have been some rumors as to the origins of FUN, the 11th track of liveandwell.com. While the first 10 tracks were recorded live, the latest addition to liveandwell.com is indeed a Hybrid re-mix.

Recorded live at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, the song “Is it any Wonder” was re-worked as a bonus track for liveandwell.com. The Hybrid track, entitled FUN starts off live as “Is it any Wonder” and then closes as a studio piece.
