Rupert Goldsworthy Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of the recent work of New York-based British painter Christopher Brooks, in his second solo exhibition. The exhibition runs from April 8th until May 29th 1999. There will be an opening reception for the artist on Saturday April 10th, from 6 to 8pm.

Bowie’s playlist spans five decades of his favorite music. He personally introduces each track. Selections include everything from chart-topping hits like Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?” by Culture Club, to less familiar choices such as Scott Walker’s “The Electrician.“

6 years ago today (April 5, 1993), Black Tie White Noise was released. It was David’s first solo album in six years. Check it out again in the Chronology section.

The David Bowie Radio Network, after it’s first week on the Internet data waves, is the most listened to channel at Rolling Stone Radio – 14 times over!  What that means is that for every other channel listened to once by visitors – dbrn is listened to 14 times more.
