Girls, Girls, Girls, Chat, Chat, Chat!

Three Little Birds…Behind every great man etc etcThe representatives of ‘the fair sex’ from the Dave Bowie band will all be available for a bit of chitter chatter, and no doubt some juicy inside gossip on Wednesday, January 26th. That’s right Gail Ann Dorsey, Emm Gryner and Holly Palmer will be expecting your most probing enquiries from 8:00pm EST. That gives you well over a week to swot up on your subjects….Oh, almost forgot…they will be dragging along their friend David Bowie, who has been involved in some of their musical experiments in the past. Look for more info on this chat next week.

Do You Want Ginger With That David?

Quite a build-up to this one from 6:30am this morning UK time, with Virgin Radio boss Chris Evans pretending tofret that he hoped David would be up in time for the ‘live’ interview!

David set the scene with the information that it was 2:20am in New York and that he had just finished washing hishands, having helped some workmen to lift paving slabs after a mains pipe had burst outside in the street. If youheard the interview and believed that statement, then you have a cruel life ahead of you.

But, I believe the story was merely a vehicle for the beautifully spiritual message that followed. A message that, while it works on the literal level that David had painted in our minds to illustrate his point, it obviously holds adeeper meaning that stretches out across the nations of the Earth and is the very essence of BowieNet: “Chris”,Said David, “If you’re gonna live in a community, I really think that you have to be part of it.”

Go here for the whole thing.
