This week’s ‘Melody Maker‘ has a section called Video Heads in which Placebo chose their favourite 7 Pop Videos of all time. Of course, David Bowie was a member of this exclusive list, they chose ‘Ashes To Ashes‘, and here is what they had to say:
Brian: “We obviously chose this as he’s a friend and good supporter of theband. I remember being about 11 years old, seeing this video for the firsttime and my mother walking in and going, (Affects an impressive doddery oldwoman voice) ‘Oh, he looks so stupid and, oh, I bet he sleeps with men orsomething…’ I was quite fascinated by it.”
