It has been announced that ‘Omikron: The Nomad Soul‘ will be available on Sega Dreamcast as of March 31st, 2000. The people at Eidos expect good things from this release, as the Dreamcast graphics are rumoured to be as smooth or even smoother than your average PC. Here is what they said over at Eidos Interactive.com:
“Graphically brilliant and strikingly stylistic, the game features one of the best real-time 3D engines available and unique facial motion capture in real-time. It also features music by David Bowie and Reeves Gabrels. David also makes an appearance in the game, playing the roles of Boz the Virtual Being, the mysterious leader of a terrorist organisation, as well as the young singer of a band called the Dreamers. The game boasts the first ever virtual concert on Dreamcast with David Bowie, Reeves Gabrels and Gail Ann Dorsey performing within the game.”
