A lot of e-mail has come in thanking David for posting these four postcard sized prints. In case you missed them, here they are again!
Free Disc With Q (qed, Qcd)
Get Chilly Down* at your newsagents…
Due to a bizarre dodgems incident**, we were unable to bring you the full skinny on the Q freebie CD yesterday, but now we jolly well can. In a promotional tie-in with HMV, Q Magazine has a cover-mounted CD entitled ‘Chill Out’. Apart from Mr Bowie’s very own beautiful Art Decade, the sixteen track disc contains a couple of our Dave’s favourites in two delicious tracks: ‘Underneath The Weeping Willow’ and ‘Holes’, by Grandaddy and Mercury Rev, respectively. These tunes will melt the heart of anybody with a soul and a full set of ears. Go here for a complete track-listing and a few words from Q about the majesty of Art Decade.

Never Mind The Sex Pistols…here's The Winners
Were you lucky, punk?
I know we originally said this competition “is open until this time next week”…But obviously, we (or more accurately, I) meant this time next month…which is now!
We asked: What David Bowie song is not only featured on the soundtrack but also enjoys a quick burst in the film itself?… To which the people below correctly offered The Jean Genie.
If you are listed above, please send your name and address to MrTotalBlamBlam@AOL.com with a subject heading of ‘Sex Pistols Winners’, and you can expect your copy of ‘The Filth And The Fury’ much faster than you would normally receive competition prizes, because the most generous BowieNetter Rus Philips, who kindly donated these prizes, has the extra help of his son Ryan to ensure speedy delivery.
On a serious note, I am finally on the case with undelivered competition prizes. Please accept my sincere apologies for being so incredibly slack in this department, but in the words of Johnny and the boys, “I’m a lazy sod!”…Actually I’m not, but why ruin a good link?

The Critics' Corner
You don’t have to be a detective to find the loads of reviews of Bowie at the Beeb, which are glowing with praise! Here are a few:

Page Hamilton Chat Transcript
Thanks again to Page Hamilton for joining us last night in Bowiechat! And thanks to all attending BowieNutters whose questions made for another interesting session!
Page answered all sorts of questions ranging from discussions he had with David about songwriting to specific guitar effects in his arsenal to the pros and cons of an education in music.
Page also talked about his new project, which still needs a name! Got any good band names? E-mail them to Saint Alphonzo with “Page Band Name” in the subject line and you could win two autographed CDs (one from Page, one from Bowie) if Page uses your name!
(the transcript will be up momentarily…)
Bowie Survivor Game
Some fans have started a Bowie/Survivor crossover game– complete with immunity challenges, and a poll for visitors to vote on which Bowie to get rid of.
It seems our Sailor got it into his head to buy an island in the Mediterranean and name it Zahra-Zahra. He has also gotten ahold of a transmogrifier machine and let out 24 replicas of himself– well, these replicas (one from each era/movie) have split into three teams (with luxury items for each Bowie).
Thanks, Thebitingfaery!
Bowie At The Beeb Q Review
People stared at the make-up on his face…
This months’ Q magazine has a favourable review by David Quantick* of Bowie at the Beeb, accompanied by the delicious (I mean that in a manly way!) Mick Rock picture of Ziggy above. Rather Ironically, Mr Quantick singles out “two crunching versions” of Ziggy Stardust as particular favourites…he he he…Click on the image above to see the full review. Elsewhere in the magazine there are two more full page adverts for the album, a repeat of the MVC campaign ad, and a new ad from HMV.
*David Quantick is co-creator (along with Jane Bussmann) of The Junkies, the first online sitcom. The DIY comedy about “the three stupidest heroin addicts in the world” was made on an unbelievably small budget of £3,500. Check it out.
