Bowienet Members Tibet Pages : Update

We can be…. kind to each other1

Its almost one month since David’s performance at Carnegie Hall, and our pages are nearly complete ( unless you know different?). View them at your leisure, over this weekend, and find out (or relive) ALL the magic of this spiritual and uplifting event.

There is a wonderful summation of the ethos of the Tibet House organisation at ‘About’, and another chance to see Tony Visconti’s excellent backstage photo’s at ‘Sailor’.

‘Journals’ tells the story of some of your fellow members’ first-hand experiences. They flew into New York from Japan, Europe and literally around the world.

“Sometimes, dreams do come true.” (nnmaddox)

“His voice was PERFECTION..so powerful and moving I felt like I had been lifted off the floor.” (susans)

“Pixxlin and I were walking to the bar and all the Tibetan monks we had just seen perform were standing on a street corner in their ceremonial robes holding their instruments. A little pocket of serenity and beauty amongst the chaos of NYC…” (irmavep)

The ‘Press’ pages have extracts from, and links to, online, broadcast and printed news items, and ‘Links’ will take you to outside pages built by db fans to cover the event.

“Clearly, Bowie was the Everest of this musical mountain range.” ( New York Post)

“(Moby) then introduced David Bowie (“the best musician of the 20th century,” in his words ) who took the stage to a thunderous reception.” (Billboard)
