The Greatest Thing You'll Ever Know

…is just to love…

You will undoubtedly recall that the Moulin Rouge soundtrack includes two versions of Nature Boy; one featuring David with Massive Attack, and the other (the opening track on the album) by David alone (see 04/16/01 NEWS: FINAL TRACK LIST FOR MOULIN ROUGE SOUNDTRACK).

As a follow up to yesterday’s post of David’s version of Nature Boy with Massive Attack, we are happy to present a clip from the version David does solo – enjoy!

March Middle Monday* Guess The Lyric Winner

Another clue that foxed nobody, but a great illustration from Electric Blue nonetheless. The answer we were looking for was ‘Law (Earthlings On Fire)’, with the line: “A wallet drops and money flies into the midday sun”. This time it’s lunamagic@davidbowie.com that TRS has selected to choose an item from the vault. If you could send your real-world name and address to me at: MrTotalBlamBlam@AOL.Com with your choice from the vault Luna, Nanny Susans will sort you out, so to speak.

Any new lyric competitions are on hold right now as we have other comps to take their place for the moment, but if you have sent in a picture that hasn’t been used yet, don’t despair as we will be running these competitions again soon.

*OK – I Know it’s not Monday, but yesterday was a public holiday so it doesn’t count apparently.

Don't Have A Massive (heart) Attack

First! First! First! First!

Erm….sorry, but we can jump up and down a little about stuff we’re excited about, can’t we? The case in point: we are delighted to present you with a little snippet of David’s recent collaboration with Massive Attack on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack! As Total Blam Blam mentioned over a month ago, (03/07/01 NEWS: DB/MASSIVE JOIN FORCES), Massive and David first met when they found themselves working on the same Festival in Israel in the nineties.

About the track, David has said: “Slinky and really mysterious, 3D has put together a riveting piece of work. I’m totally pleased with the end result.”
