The Rupert Goldsworthy Gallery is proud to present an exhibition by New York-based painter Stephen Tashjian. Mr. Tashjian will present new paintings on contemporary subjects. The exhibition runs from May 3 to May 31, 2001. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, May 3 from 6-8PM.
Combining rich color and glitter with brushwork that is breathtakingly fresh, Mr. Tashjian catches the spirit of the moment in this new series of celebrity portraits on canvas of contemporary icons such as rapper Eve, First Lady of Rough Riders, Prince Naseem and the girl group, Destiny’s Child.
