‘Slow Burn’, the first single from ‘Heathen’ is due for a July 1st release. At the moment there are plans for several different formats, including a promo CD sampler, a promo 7″ single, two European CDs, two UK CDs and a UK DVD…with the possibility of additional releases for other territories as we get nearer the release date. Phew!
Apart from the captive audience made up of format junkies such as myself, those of you not normally attracted to the single format may find the incredibly generous offering of extra tracks across these releases utterly irresistible.
But don’t just take my word for it, here are the bonus tracks you can expect: ‘Wood Jackson’ and ‘When The Boys Come Marching Home’, both outtakes from the ‘Heathen’ sessions, and ‘Shadow Man’, ‘You’ve Got A Habit’ and ‘Baby Loves That Way’, from the unreleased ‘Toy’ album. And that’s not even taking into account the ‘Slow Burn’ video, plus extra video clips and pictures!
