One more, weekend, of lights and evening faces…
Hope the headline didn’t mislead you there folks, but Stefano of the unofficial Italian David Bowie fan organisation, Velvet Goldmine, has sent me details of an event to interest fans of both David and Lou Reed. The fun starts next Friday, and here’s the timetable of events:
www.velvetgoldmine.it in conjunction with www.loureed.it is proud to present ROCKICONS – two nights for David Bowie & Lou Reed fans in Rome, Italy, at the Jailbreak, Via Tiburtina 870. The Lou Reed night takes place on Friday 9th May and includes Lou Reed cover band, VICIOUS UNDERGROUND, and the David Bowie night takes place on Sunday 10th May and will include music from David Bowie cover band, ALLAD INSANE.
