Halloween Jack is a real cool cat…
David Bowie’s A Reality Tour marked Halloween with a show at the Koln Arena in Cologne, Germany, tonight. As expected, there were some spooky moments during the show, not least of all when David was repeatedly attacked by a life-size plastic Raven!
Admittedly the attacks were at David’s own hands, but the moment became all the more surreal when he decided to accompany this moment of pure theatre with a line or two from the Everly Brothers‘ song, Bird Dog. During yet another attack, David apparently encouraged the female members of the Bowie Band to sing Clipperty Clopperty… and why not?
Anyway, the vocal performances were among some of David’s very best, according to ear-witness reports, and here follows the 21-song set list:
