I’ll give you television, I’ll give you eyes of blue… (kind of)
As mentioned by Spaceface in the BowieNet calendar absolutely yonks ago, and by David Bowie in his journal today, (see below) our man is due to tape two American TV shows over the next couple of days. Here’s how he said it in his journal: “This week it’s all about Hollywood I suppose. We shall record the Ellen show Tuesday and then the Leno thing the day after.”
And he’s not fibbing either. Here’s the taping and broadcast dates:
The Ellen DeGeneres Show: Tapes Tuesday April 20th. Broadcasts Friday April 23rd – “He?s here! Rock & Roll legend DAVID BOWIE performs a song from his new CD ?Reality,? and one of his classics!”
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno: Tapes Wednesday April 21st. Broadcasts same day – “David Bowie, the LEGEND, performs “Never Get Old” from his latest, critically-acclaimed album, Reality”
It’s worth also noting that “The Polyphonic Spree take their upbeat choral-style pop to town on “Light & Day” from their CD, Beginning Stages Of…” on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tomorrow. (Tuesday)
