More Bowie On Life Aquatic Dvd Set

Somebody plays my song in tune…

A region 1 two-Disc Special Edition DVD of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is released in the US and Canada next Tuesday, May 10th.

There will also be a single disc version for those that would rather save the $3 difference to spend on something else…though you would have to be clinically insane not to plum for the two-disc set, which contains the following features:

~ Available subtitles: Spanish, French
~ Available Audio Tracks: English (Dolby Digital 5.1), English (DTS 5.1)
~ Ten Deleted Scenes
~ Interview with the Cast and Crew with Behind-the-Scenes Footage
~ Select Scene Commentary with Director Wes Anderson
~ Ten David Bowie Songs performed by Brazilian recording artist Seu Jorge
~ Interview with composer and Devo member Mark Mothersbaugh
~ Mondo Monda – Italian TV Interview
~ This Is An Adventure – A Making of A Documentary by Albert Maysles
~ Fold-Out Insert with cutaway of The Belafonte with Eric Anderson’s original illustrations
~ Behind-the-Scenes photos and original artwork
~ Theatrical Trailer
~ Intern Video Journal by Actor and Real Life Intern Matthew Gray Gubler
~ Number of discs: 2

Apparently the Bowie songs performed by Seu Jorge are the full versions.

A region 2 single disc version will be released on July 4th.
