Bowie Performs The Little Fat Man At Gervais Show

How DB may have looked tonight…milling around a bit and generally being a bit of a nuisance.

He sold his soul for a shot at fame…

David Bowie caught the audience at Ricky Gervais‘s sell out High Line show off guard tonight, when he introduced Britain’s funniest export with a rendition of The Little Fat Man (With The Pug-Nosed Face).

Apparently the show began with Ricky introducing David from the wings, who then strolled on to be greeted by an incredibly enthusiastic crowd.

DB encouraged the audience to join in with his a cappella version of the classic Bowie/Gervais/Merchant-penned tune, and apparently they rose to the challenge and made a jolly good fist of it…an apparently word perfect one at that.

Bowie, dressed in tuxedo, as above, then introduced Gervais and exited to deafening applause.

We’ll be posting proper WireImage shots of the occasion shortly, along with, hopefully, some of David with Secret Machines too.
