Audi you make it through the night…

As reported in yesterday’s news, David Bowie last night attended The 2nd Annual Audi and Condé Nast Publications Never Follow Campaign at the The Manhattan Center in New York City.

DB and the band played a nine-song set which David described thus when I asked him about it this morning: “A fast ripsnorting sort of a set – we do longer sound checks”. While Mike Garson described it as: “A good show and a good looking audience”.

Hard to disagree with either of them when one considers the set list (below) and some of the beautiful people present. Apart from Iman and the four innovators heading the Audi campaign, guests included: Brad Pitt, (who chatted with David for a good half hour after the show) Adriana Lima, Jason Patric and Edie Falco, all of whom you can see pictures of with David in the Virtual Ticket section now.

Brad Pitt, Iman and David Bowie… How much more beauty can one room hold?

Here’s the nine-song set list supplied by a sleepy-headed, but somehow never nescient, HNB:

New York May 3rd 2004

01 Rebel Rebel
02 New Killer Star
03 Cactus
04 China Girl
05 The Loneliest Guy
06 Never Get Old
07 Ashes To Ashes
08 Suffragette City
09 Ziggy Stardust

Would you buy a used Audi from this man? DB rocks NYC.

As I say, if you’re a BowieNet member and you fancy viewing a few more live shots, and some pix of DB with aforementioned celebs, in the Virtual Ticket section… all courtesy of the quite brilliant Kevin Mazur at WireImage.com.
